Animator/Motion Graphic Artist (Graduate Position)

£14,400 per year contract, Redditch

We are looking to recruit a talented creative to work with Tweak Video to assist with all aspects of motion graphic design.

Successful applicants will be educated to degree level (or similar) with a relevant qualification and will be responsible for delivering motion graphics and animation for our Corporate Video Production projects.

Candidates will be proficient in the following software applications;

  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Premiere
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Some knowledge of Cinema 4D an advantage (or Maya or 3D Studio Max)

Duties will include;

  • Creating motion graphics for video such as idents/titles/lower thirds
  • Producing Kinetic Typography and Animated Explainer Videos
  • Producing storyboards/animatics for clients
  • Participating in Pre-Production and creating initial concepts
  • 2D Character Animation and Character Rigging/Asset Design
  • Compositing and occasionally colour grading
  • Special FX design such as custom wipes/time lapse/speed ramps/motion tracking etc
  • Some editing duties as and when required
  • Occasionally produce graphics for Social Media

The right person for this role will be presentable and will be easy to communicate with and have a good command of the English language.

The hours for the position are Monday to Friday 0830 till 1700. This position is offered as full time “contract” and employees will be expected to register themselves as self employed and complete their own tax returns. The ability to work creatively on your own is vital and also to work to deadlines.

Position Start Date – ASAP.

Salary £1,200 per calendar month gross.
